Walk The PetWalk — Return & Refund Policy

At Walk The PetWalk, we want you to love every item you receive. If something isn’t quite right, we gladly accept returns within 7 days of fulfillment for store credit only.

To qualify for a return, items must be:

  • Unworn and unwashed

  • Free of odors, stains, or damage

  • In their original condition

  • With all tags attached (no tags = no return)

Items showing signs of wear will be denied.

Pet Hair Policy

Because we specialize in pet products, we understand a little hair happens — but excessive pet hair covering the garment will result in either:

  • 50% store credit, or

  • The item being returned to you at no cost


How to Start a Return

Email us at walkthepetwalk@gmail.com to begin your return.

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs. Walk The PetWalk does not provide return labels.

Returns sent outside the 7‑day window may be declined and returned to you at no charge.

Damaged or Defective Items

If your item arrives damaged or defective, please contact us within 3 days of delivery at walkthepetwalk@gmail.com with photos of the issue.

If reported within the 3‑day window, we will offer:

  • A replacement (if in stock), or

  • Store credit

We do not offer cash refunds for damaged or defective items.

We are not responsible for damage caused by improper care, handling, or incorrect sizing.


Color & Pattern Disclaimer

The exact colors of merchandise may vary due to photography lenses, indoor/outdoor lighting, and monitor resolutions. Patterns may also vary. These situations do not qualify as defects.


Final Sale Items (Non‑Returnable)

The following items cannot be returned or exchanged:

  • Customized items

  • Trucker hats

  • Cups, tumblers, glassware

  • Items marked “Final Sale”

  • Sale items or items purchased during promotions


Processing Time

Please allow 5–10 business days after your return is received for processing. You will receive an email confirmation with your store credit once complete.


Shipping Issues & Lost Packages

Walk The PetWalk is not responsible for:

  • Carrier delays

  • Lost, damaged, or stolen packages

  • Packages marked as delivered but not received

If your package is lost or marked delivered but missing, please contact the carrier directly to file a claim:

  • USPS Claims

  • UPS Claims


Signature Requirement

Orders over $250 will require a signature upon delivery. If you are not home to sign, please reschedule delivery with the carrier. If the package is returned to us, you will be responsible for reshipment costs.


Wrong Address Disclaimer

It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure the shipping address is correct at checkout.

If a package is returned to us due to an incorrect or undeliverable address, you will be responsible for reshipment costs.

If you need to update your address after placing an order, email us immediately at walkthepetwalk@gmail.com.


Tracking Issues

If there is a problem with your tracking number or package delivery, please contact the courier directly before contacting us.

Tracking may take 1–4 business days to update. In rare cases, tracking may not update, but the package will still arrive.

If tracking shows “Delivered” but you did not receive your package, please contact the carrier. Walk The PetWalk cannot be held responsible for packages marked as delivered.
